JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse - Trauma Step-Down / Progressive Care Unit

RN - TRAUMA STEP / PCU

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Trauma Step-Down / Progressive Care Unit will have the following job responsibilities :

• Assessing, planning, and providing care for patients with serious but less critical injuries who are recovering from the ICU or direct admission.
• Key responsibilities involve closely monitoring patients' vital signs and neurological status, administering complex medications, managing respiratory support, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and providing immediate interventions in emergencies.
• The role demands strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and the ability to coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team for patients who require more intensive care than standard medical-surgical units.
