GENERAL DESCRIPTION :

Clean and maintain extrusion / paint equipment in an aluminum manufacturing plant that is not climate-controlled. This is a position that requires mechanical aptitude.

Work Schedule :

  • Monday–Thursday : 10-hour shifts (4x10s).
  • Friday : 8-hour shift (overtime).
  • Total : 48 hours per week, including 8 hours of guaranteed overtime.
  • Note : This schedule reflects current business needs. Overtime may decrease in the winter, but for the foreseeable future, Friday work is standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Adhere to OSHA and plant safety standards, including Lockout-Tagout.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, multi-crafted worker that is able to work autonomously in a fast-paced and often loud production environment.
  • Adhere to plant cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Complete assigned work efficiently and per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Responsible for process management, simple maintenance tasks, lubrication, housekeeping, and sanitation.

    • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Ability to stand, stoop, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend at the waist.
  • Ability to lift / push / pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to read micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and use small hand tools.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent attendance.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (drug screen and background check).
