Med / Surg RN Job Details Job Title : Travel Med / Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Locum Tenens Location : Sierra Vista, Arizona 85635 Healthcare Setting : Acute Care, 34-bed Med / Surg unit Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 27 / 2025 - End : 1 / 26 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM), occasional weekends Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1800-$1840 Electronic Health Record : Cerner Equipment Used : Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, telemetry monitors Dress Code : Any color scrubs, closed-toed shoes Registered Nurse Qualifications Active and unencumbered RN license (Arizona or compact state) Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience (travel RN experience preferred) Healthcare and clinical support experience required; telemetry experience preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical setting Monitor and manage patients with surgical, general medical, and telemetry needs Operate hospital equipment including Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitors Accurately document patient care in the Cerner EHR system Float to care for inpatient holds as needed within the hospital Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
