Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Service Technician - Convergentz

Convergentz, a division of the Hunton Group , has a new and exciting opportunity for you to join our organization as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Service Technician . In this role, the selected candidate will perform installation, service, and repair tasks on a variety of fire sprinkler systems. This role involves executing simple projects, such as moves, adds, and changes, as well as completing full floor buildouts. The ideal candidate will provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities :

• Install and service fire sprinkler systems, including new installations, retrofits, and tenant improvement projects.
• Provide support, guidance, and expertise to other field installers and helpers.
• Read and interpret blueprints to accurately install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.
• Cut, thread, and groove pipes to specifications using tools such as saws and pipe threaders.
• Perform service and repairs on a wide range of fire sprinkler systems.
