Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Free Standing Emergency Department night shift position requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience and a VA or compact license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) setting
  • Work hours are 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM on night shifts
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Care for emergency department patients of varying acuity
  • Duties include providing emergency nursing care and collaborating with ED team members
  • Must provide copies of valid RN licensure and certifications
  • Must complete skills checklist and provide professional references
  • Only candidates with a U.S. SSN are eligible

  • Active VA or compact RN license required
  • Minimum one year of recent emergency department RN experience required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or accepted equivalent certification required for ER units
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
  • U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
