Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $22.00 - 22.00

What you’ll do : Set

up and operate sheet metal fabricating machines, such as press brakes, shears,

turret punch presses, saws, and presses, to cut, bend, and form sheet metal

according to blueprints and specifications

JOB

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed

environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a

continuous improvement environment

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • is a plus

  • Perform necessary pre-operation activities
  • to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of

    equipment

  • Operate / monitor multiple pieces of
  • equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned

    stops

  • Communicate with team members and support
  • teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality

    levels with minimal wasted time and materials

  • Perform
  • the above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance, and safety

    standards

    What you need to be successful :

    Math skills including converting fractions to decimals

    Ability to read a tape measure

    Ability to read a blueprint or be trained to read a blueprint

    Problem solving skills

    Capable of lifting 50 pounds and sliding 100 pounds without assistance
