Janitor Lead (Finance)

Controlled Contamination Services has been a national provider of facility solutions, technical and decontamination services, since 1993. POSITION PURPOSE :

The Janitor Lead oversees the day-to-day cleaning operations and quality programs of specific accounts or group sites. A lead has over 1 year of experience in the cleaning and / or janitorial arenas and is well versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling and training.

SHIFT DETAILS :

Monday - Friday 7 : 00 pm - 3 : 30 am

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
  • Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques
  • Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
  • Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.
  • Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
  • All other duties as defined by supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

    Required to spend on-the-job time on the following physical activities :

  • Stand
  • Walk
  • Lift / Climb
  • Talk / Hear
  • Use hands to finger, handle or feel.
  • Reach with hands or arms.
  • The Weight or Force requirement in this position is : Up to 40 pounds.
  • Loud environments (examples : metal can manufacturing department, large earth-moving equipment)
