60% FTE, evening / night shift rotation. Weekend rotation and rotating holidays. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift / weekend differential. You will work at the American Family Children's Hospital located in Madison, WI.

Pay :

Additional components of compensation may include :

  • Shift Differentials : $4 / hour evening, $5 / hour night and $4.25 / hour weekend as applicable for hours worked.
  • Overtime

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to :

  • Use your knowledge of policies, procedures and practices of the state, university, hospital and Department of Nursing as they relate to the operations of the hospital and clinics.
  • Bring your knowledge of staffing models and oversee staffing.
  • Prioritize workload / assignments.
  • Utilize your strong professional communication and collaboration skills to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts.

    • Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing Preferred

    • Work Experience

  • 3 years of acute clinical nursing experience Required
  • Previous experience in a formal leadership role (such as Care Team Leader, Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Manager) Preferred
  • Adult and Pediatric experience Preferred

    • Licenses & Certifications

  • Licensed RN in the State of Wisconsin Required
  • CPR certification Required
  • ACLS Preferred
  • PALS Preferred
