About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have : Epic experience

Description :

EP Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab competencies are required for this role.

Day shift, 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM.

Weekends may be required as needed.

Candidates must be comfortable staying until the last patient is cared for.

Call may be required.

Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit.

If clinically qualified and within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for final decision.

Minimum 2 years of experience is required.

Certifications required include ACLS and BLS.

Maximum 7 days of requested time off is allowed.

Weekend work may be needed as necessary.

No call is required for this position.

No holiday shifts are expected.

Floating to other areas may be necessary.

This unit is focused on invasive cardiology.

The unit includes dedicated labs for cardiac procedures and electrophysiology.

It has prep / recovery bays and completes a high volume of procedures annually.

Advanced cardiovascular treatments are offered, including complex coronary procedures and various device implants.

Additional responsibilities may include caring for COVID patients.

The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free.

All candidates must receive the COVID-19 vaccine, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.

The flu vaccine is also required.

Specific skills required include monitoring procedural sedation and various cardiovascular procedures.

Experience with Epic charting is heavily preferred.

Candidates must hold certifications from AHA or ARC only.

Travel pairs are acceptable, but matched schedules cannot be guaranteed.

Candidates must meet other relevant requirements and ensure compliance with all policies.
