Freelance Senior Linguist - Amharic

A company is looking for a Freelance Senior Linguist specializing in Marketing & Life Sciences for the Amharic language.

Key Responsibilities

Translate and copy edit content in specified subject areas including Investigator facing, Patient facing, and Pharmacy material

Utilize various CAT tools and MS Office applications to ensure high-quality translations

Collaborate with a team of freelance language experts on multiple accounts and programs

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in translation and copy editing in relevant subject matter areas

Professional level understanding of English (US / GB)

Native level expertise in Amharic with a strong grasp of cultural nuances

Familiarity with CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling

Desirable : Translation degree or equivalent experience in translation
