We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic / Warehouse Technician to perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance on our fleet vehicles, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks and docks.
Responsibilities :
- Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
- Truck repair and maintenance on fleet vehicles
- Troubleshoot problems to include detecting potential problems, safety issues and / or malfunctions for fleet vehicles, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks and docks
- Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements for all vehicles and equipment
- Cleaning of equipment and other areas as required
- Develop and follow a scheduled maintenance plan for all vehicles and machines, maintain an inventory of spare parts, and generally work to ensure mechanical problems affect transportation and warehouse operations as rarely as possible
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent and / or college or vocational certification in diesel automotive technologyMinimum of three years of engine experienceValid driver's licenseClass A license preferredExperience with hydraulics / pneumatics to include newer and older modelsExperience with maintenance toolsAble to work safely and follow company rules and proceduresRequires regular and reliable attendance to meet operation needsPersonal protective wear requiredPay and Benefits :
