Diesel Mechanic / Warehouse Technician

We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic / Warehouse Technician to perform routine, preventative and emergency maintenance on our fleet vehicles, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks and docks.

Responsibilities :

• Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
• Truck repair and maintenance on fleet vehicles
• Troubleshoot problems to include detecting potential problems, safety issues and / or malfunctions for fleet vehicles, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks and docks
• Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements for all vehicles and equipment
• Cleaning of equipment and other areas as required
• Develop and follow a scheduled maintenance plan for all vehicles and machines, maintain an inventory of spare parts, and generally work to ensure mechanical problems affect transportation and warehouse operations as rarely as possible

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent and / or college or vocational certification in diesel automotive technology

Minimum of three years of engine experience

Valid driver's license

Class A license preferred

Experience with hydraulics / pneumatics to include newer and older models

Experience with maintenance tools

Able to work safely and follow company rules and procedures

Requires regular and reliable attendance to meet operation needs

Personal protective wear required

Pay and Benefits :

$27 / hour

Monday thru Friday schedule
