Custodial Maintenance Position

The purpose of this position is to perform custodial work in the maintenance of the assigned facility. This is an entry-level maintenance support position.

Illustrative examples of essential duties include : cleaning and maintaining floors throughout the facility, cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking restrooms and break rooms, dusting, cleaning, and sanitizing offices, gathering and disposing of trash and recycling, maintaining inventory of supplies, and performing light building maintenance.

General knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, workplace hazardous materials, and proper operation of custodial / maintenance equipment is required. Ability to read and understand safety data sheets, communicate clearly, establish effective working relationships, and work varying schedules is also required.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, two years of building cleaning or maintenance experience, American Red Cross CPR / First Aid certification, and a valid Florida driver's license.
