Description : SAP Production Planning Consultant - S / 4 HANA

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Consultant to lead solution design, configuration, and implementation efforts within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. This role requires deep expertise in SAP S / 4 HANA, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to drive process improvements across complex business landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead workshops and contribute to process design and solutioning using SAP best practices.
  • Collaborate with business SMEs, architects, developers, and vendor consultants to enhance existing systems and support new initiatives.
  • Design and implement full-cycle SAP PP configurations; document functional specifications and system changes.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical specifications; coordinate with ABAP teams for development and testing.
  • Develop and execute test plans, including unit and integration testing.
  • Support project delivery phases, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Utilize SAP Solution Manager for documentation and change tracking.
  • Independently manage WRICEF object development in coordination with technical teams.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution using SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) practices.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP Project Systems and integration with related modules (Sales, Procurement, Costing, Quality, Plant Maintenance).

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in SAP Production Planning, including at least one full-cycle S / 4 HANA implementation.
  • Strong understanding of SAP PP processes including MRP, BOMs, routings, work centers, capacity planning, and FIORI apps.
  • Experience in large-scale environments, preferably in Aerospace & Defense.
  • Familiarity with SAP S / 4 HANA roadmap and innovations across releases.
  • Proficient in interface management, user exits, batch jobs, and standard SAP reporting.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Expertise in discrete and repetitive manufacturing processes.
  • Deep knowledge of special planning procedures, interchangeability, ECM / OCM, batch and serial number management.
  • Experience with WBS and integration with SAP Project Systems.
  • Working knowledge of SAP PPDS and SAP Quality Management.
  • SAP certifications in PS or S / 4 HANA are a plus.
