Job Description
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible to maintain quality standards of our products through quality control procedures with a specific emphasis on processing RMA’s and client visit orders through NetSuite on processing RMA’s by restyling and repackaging them like received in their original condition, assisting in investigating QC issues, assisting with QC incoming / outgoing shipments, and following up on cases.
Responsibilities
RMA Processing
- Confirm that RMA has a correct or current RMA number.
- Processes all custom order RMA’s
- Processes any return to customer shipments through NetSuite, communicates effectively the Return Review Letter to Account Managers before returning shipment
- Ensures inspection results uploaded into NetSuite and all comments are in the RMA notes section
- Restyling human hair and synthetic fiber items into the original manner
- Organization & inventory of additional packaging items in house, advising QC Lead if any items are needing to be re-ordered and the quantity
Quality Control
Rectify quality control inquiries from staff members, customers, and end consumersRespond to customer inquiries, wufoo’s, and social media QC concerns / inquiriesQuality control of incoming / outgoing shipmentsDefective merchandise returnsLogistics Support
Assisting with video / photo shoot prep and clean up if necessaryOrganization of control samples in warehouse and PD / QC officeRequired Education :
High school diploma or equivalentComputer Experience RequiredExperience :
1+ of years in a Quality Control / Assurance role2+ years of customer service experienceHair industry experience preferredSkills / Knowledge / Abilities :
Strong attention to detailAbility to accurately identify quality issuesHighly organized and able to manage time effectivelyAbility to think critically, problem-solve and identify when to escalate issuesUtilization of NetSuite or similar ERP software systemProficient in Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience in composing correspondence with ability to appropriately convey quality issues & recommendationsFamiliarity with hairstyling and hot toolsPhysical Demands

Full Time – On Site in Carlsbad, CA
7 : 30 – 4 : 00, 8 : 00 – 4 : 30, or 8 : 30-5 : 00
Based on business needs - occasional overtime may be needed
