Overview Theatrical Technical Director- Stipend Position

RSU5 DURHAM-FREEPORT-POWNAL / Freeport High School; RSU5 & FHS Theatre are looking for a technical director for their musical and One Act show in the 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities Assessing and executing the production’s technical elements / needs with student design teams (lighting, sound, props, set).

Upkeep and instruction in theatrical equipment during production.

Provide technical assistance for theatre rentals & purchases.

Help plan and coordinate production schedule with director.

Run technical rehearsals with director, stage manager, and actors.

Help each participating student achieve a high level of technical skill and develop an appreciation for theater.

Ideally understand the value of theatre and execute the discipline and focus involved in theatrical performances & technical production.

Requirements Must hold a CHRC certification from ME Dept. of Education.

Location Freeport High School, RSU5
