Responsibilities
About the Role
This position offers the opportunity to build on and manage a sophisticated, automated data integration framework that powers Purdue for Life’s development and alumni operations. You’ll architect and optimize APIs, pipelines, and system interfaces to ensure seamless, accurate data flow while championing best practices in data governance and compliance. As part of a highly skilled and collaborative technology team, you’ll tackle complex data challenges and drive innovative automation strategies. Core Responsibilities :
Automated Data Integration & Automation : Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and secure technology infrastructure focused on automated data integrations. Develop and manage APIs and data pipelines for seamless information exchange between various systems with a strong emphasis on automating routine processes and data updates.
Stakeholder Collaboration & System Interfacing : Serve as the primary technical liaison with PRF, Purdue University organizations, and external vendors to design, deliver, and maintain efficient, automated interfaces.
Data Quality & Integrity Management : Design, develop, and implement comprehensive data integrity audits and automated validation processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of development and alumni data. Proactively identify and remediate data quality issues.
Data Governance & Compliance : Recommend and implement policies and automated procedures to ensure adherence to PRF and University data governance standards, data security protocols, and privacy regulations for all development and alumni information.
System Optimization & Modernization : Manage system development activities, focusing on integrating and optimizing vendor software through automation. Facilitate planning and testing for timely system upgrades and stay current with emerging technologies and vendor software releases relevant to data integration and quality.
Automated Data Ingestion & Enhancement : Design, develop, and maintain robust automated import processes to enrich and augment large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for existing records and facilitating efficient development operations.
Innovation & Future Technology Adoption : Proactively research, evaluate, and champion emerging technologies, innovative methodologies, and future-proofing strategies in data integration, automation, and data quality management to continuously enhance PFL’s data capabilities and operational excellence.
