Precision Production Operator — Metals and Finishing

Sign-on bonus : $1,500

A day in the life

You arrive to a clean, well-organized production floor and review the day’s work orders. Depending on line needs, you might set up in the press room, move to an assembly cell, or support the paint line. Throughout your shift you’ll :

  • Assemble and test components to rigorous quality standards
  • Operate press room equipment and support welding operations
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently, including small-part counting, labeling, and movement
  • Run paint line processes with an eye for finish quality
  • Follow detailed production instructions and standard work
  • Spot defects quickly and take corrective action
  • Champion safety by following all policies and procedures

Compensation and shifts

  • Starting pay : $22.00 per hour
  • Shift differential : +$1.50 / hour for 2nd and 3rd shift
  • Shifts (Mon–Fri) :
  • 1st : 6 : 00 a.m. – 2 : 00 p.m.

  • 2nd : 2 : 00 p.m. – 10 : 00 p.m.
  • 3rd : 10 : 00 p.m. – 6 : 00 a.m.

  • Comfort with physical, repetitive work and standing for long stretches
  • Strong hand–eye coordination and meticulous attention to detail
  • Basic math and computer literacy
  • Ability to read and follow precise instructions
  • Familiarity with part numbers, sizing, and identifying quality issues
  • Forklift and crane licenses are a plus
