We are seeking two Temporary Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Field Organizers to join our Community Organizing & Advocacy team. This is a part-time role (25 hours / week, $25 / hour) with some weekend availability required. Field Organizers will play a key role in volunteer recruitment, training, and mobilization for Detroit's GOTV campaign. You will help lead canvassing, phone banking, text banking, and community outreach efforts, while supporting volunteers and nurturing the next generation of civic leaders.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working with diverse and underrepresented communities. Bilingual English / Spanish skills and prior campaign experience are preferred but not required. DHDC provides a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment where staff are encouraged to develop skills, take initiative, and make a meaningful impact.
