Job Title : CNC Programmer

Job Summary :

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join their manufacturing team. This role involves writing and optimizing CNC programs for mills, lathes, and other CNC machinery to ensure efficient and accurate production of components and parts. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with CAD / CAM software, G-code, and a solid understanding of machining processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to develop CNC programs.

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM).

Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences.

Perform simulations and test runs to validate CNC programs and ensure accuracy and quality.

Troubleshoot programming and machining issues, providing solutions to reduce downtime.

Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to refine and improve processes.

Maintain accurate documentation for all CNC programs and set-up instructions.

Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, productivity, and safety in the CNC department.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, machining, or related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machine operation.

Proficiency in CAD / CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, and SolidWorks.

Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens).

Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T symbols.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills (Optional) :

Leadership experience

Experience with Cloud NC

Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems

Working Conditions :

Manufacturing environment

May require standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing protective gear
