Join a small group of Advocacy Fellows who live in Congressman Jake LaTurner's Congressional District. Mr. LaTurner is on the subcommittee that funds foreign aid, so his constituents have an important opportunity to make a difference for global health. Kansas Senator Jerry Moran is on the same subcommittee in the Senate.
You will be trained and supported in effective citizen advocacy, urging the Congressman and Senator to support measures to increase the impact of U.S. global health programs. Currently we are focused on increasing U.S. aid for the delivery of frontline primary health care.
Advocacy Fellows work about 6 hours a week for a minimum of 12 months, with regular small-group coaching by video chat. All activities can be conducted remotely.
