Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Description : Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required May float to Med-Surg HARD START- 11 / 17 Accepts 1st time travelers! Additional Requirement : Must be able to read strips HARD REQUIREMENTS : 1. Experience level is med-surg and telemetry with a 1 : 5 nurse to patient med-surg ratio. 2. Years of experience are a minimum of 3 years in nursing. 3. References have level 4-5 ratings. 4. competencies must be consistent with medical-surgical and telemetry patient care needs and should be rated 3 or greater. Required Certifications : ACLS BLS NIH Unit Details : Avg Census : 36 Rooms / Beds 36 Ratios - 1 : 5 Every other weekend coverage required No Call requirement Scrubs : Royal Blue Patient Population : Adolescents - Geriatrics Must be able to work in Telemetry setting. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills : Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias Telemetry - on the unit monitoring Telemetry - remote monitoring Required Cardiovascular skills : Post Cardiac Angiogram Post MI Pre / Post Cardiac Cath Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery Required IV Therapy / Phlebotomy Skills : Blood Product Administration Central line care / management PICC line management Starting IVs Required Medication skills : Heparin Protocols Manage Cardiac drips- no titration Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration Required Respiratory / Thoracic Skills : Care of Chronic / Long-term Ventilated Patient Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleuravac External CPAP / BIPAP High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) Nasal Cannula Non-invasive airway management Oxygen face masks Tracheostomy Management RTO must be on the submittal No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment Please Note : Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it’s to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract RRHC JG PJ 3042039 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
