The Tax CPA will play a key role in this mission by overseeing all of Trajan Wealth's internal tax reporting and leading the delivery of client-focused tax planning services. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and expand Trajan Tax Services as a core part of our holistic wealth management offering.
This position would be working onsite at our Scottsdale corporate headquarters.
Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee all internal tax reporting for Trajan Wealth, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely filings.
- Coordinate with leadership to forecast tax obligations, plan for liabilities, and ensure the firm is positioned for compliance and efficiency.
- Monitor changes in tax law and regulations impacting Trajan Wealth's internal reporting, proactively updating processes and procedures.
- Managing client engagements from start to finish which includes planning, executing, directing and completing tax projects, managing the budget, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
- Identify and implement tax planning and consulting opportunities.
- Prepare complex tax returns and prepare tax payments, as needed.
- Maintain good working relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work.
- Identify and assist with implementation of tax planning and tax savings strategies.
- Research and consult on complex tax matters.
- Research the implications of tax laws and advise clients on tax-related issues.
- Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and imagination on approaching work.
- Develops and maintains expertise in the taxation area, responsible to keep appropriate team members informed of changes and developments in the taxation area.
Qualifications
