Texas Licensed Director of Investigations

A company is looking for a Director, Investigations & Assistant General Counsel (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

Oversee a team of investigators performing end-to-end investigations and ensure timely regulatory reporting

Maintain relationships with government agencies and coordinate compliance with corrective action plans

Identify and implement risk-based internal controls to prevent and detect workplace misconduct

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Juris Doctor is required

Must be licensed to practice law in at least one State

10+ years of general legal experience with 5+ years in investigatory or regulatory roles

Working knowledge or experience in the life or health insurance industry is preferred

Prior experience in a leadership role is preferred
