Safety Engineer II

Overview

Safety Engineer II at Mortenson. The Safety Engineer will work to implement Mortenson's Zero Injury Safety program at a project site and ensure a safe work environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors to the construction work site. Interacts with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer safety programs at each worksite for team members
• Assist the project management team in developing and executing site-specific safety programs and activities
• Attend, coordinate, and conduct safety orientation and training programs at the project level
• Document and track all safety violations, unsafe conditions, etc.
• Conduct work area safety audits
• Conduct project leading and trailing indicator data / document collection and trend analyses
• Conduct or assist with major incident analyses
• Record, monitor, and analyze safety, injury, and hazard statistics
• Coordinate OSHA reporting and posting requirements

Compensation and Additional Details

The base pay range for this role is $79,800 MIN - $107,700 MAX. Actual range may be higher for certain locations. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
