Locums OB Hospitalist - Christiansburg, VAWilling to License In-House 24-Hour Shifts Resident Supervision Start Date & Commitment

• Start Date : December 22, 2025

Contract Length : 6 months

Schedule : 8 in-house 24-hour call shifts per month

Shift Types : Day, Night, Weekend

Facility & Setting

Nursery : Level II

Practice Setting : Hospital and Clinic

EMR : Epic

Medical Staff : 280 physicians across a wide range of specialties

Clinical Responsibilities

Handle unassigned OB / GYN call for the hospital

Supervise and manage residents

Must be proficient in OB / GYN core skills and minor GYN surgeries

Workload & Volume

Non-Obstetrical Surgeries per Month : 20-25

Call Shifts Needed : 8 24-hour shifts per month

Not a slow practice - busy OB unit

Support Staff Onsite

5 Advanced Clinical Practitioners

1 Certified Nurse Midwife

Licensing & Qualifications

American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Willing to consider candidates needing licensure

Certifications Preferred :

EFM

NRP

PALS

Minimum 2-3 years required

5+ years strongly preferred
