Overview

Entry Level Field Engineer role at Kleinfelder . The Irving, Texas office is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to join the Geotechnical team. The role involves geotechnical sampling, inspection and testing in the field, data reporting, and support for proposals and technical reports. The work includes soil and groundwater sampling, laboratory testing, nuclear moisture density testing, and collaboration in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong communication is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform soil and groundwater sampling, logging observations, and testing on materials testing projects to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
  • Submit daily field reports and data reports summarizing daily activities.
  • Geotechnical laboratory testing experience is a plus.
  • Conduct engineering calculations under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
  • Assist in maintaining objectives, initiatives, and overall goals set forth by the project manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 0 to 3 years of geotechnical field experience
  • Must have valid TX Driver\'s License
