Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide service provider specializing in skilled trade services. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for performing commercial plumbing repairs and service without the pressure of meeting sales quotas. The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 2 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 30 p.m. (Second Shift). Technicians are provided with a company vehicle and gas card, along with the flexibility to begin their service routes from either home or a regional shop location. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of recent experience in commercial plumbing service and repair.
Responsibilities
- Provide informative customer service to clients with professional conduct
- Install, repair or replace commercial plumbing fixtures and water heaters
- Properly diagnose and repair issues with sanitary waste, vent, or potable water pipes
- Inspect and service grease traps, interceptors, sump pumps or lift stations
- Troubleshoot common commercial plumbing issues on pumps, fixtures, valves, and DWV
- Diagnose and unclog drains using cable machines, and confirm completion of the cleaning with a camera
- Submit service paperwork with a summary of the work provided after each service appointment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Drive and operate company vehicles within department guidelines
- Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department
