Director, Revenue Cycle
The Director, Revenue Cycle serves as the primary liaison between the Revenue Cycle Operations teams and his / her assigned Client for all aspects of the Revenue Cycle. This position will be responsible for the proactive oversight of the Revenue Cycle process and maintain a successful client relationship and client strategies. In addition, this position will develop a deep understanding of the Client's Revenue Cycle to ensure KPI's and quality measures are met at both their assigned location and at Service Center. This position will also supervise assigned Revenue Cycle Leaders at CBO and / or Client Site. The Director, Revenue Cycle will monitor compliance with State and Federal laws and guidelines. This position will proactively identify opportunities for revenue cycle improvement initiatives and partner with the AE and Client leadership to develop and execute these plans. The Director, Revenue Cycle will possess both technical and business skills to recommend, engage and manage their client's strategic initiatives. The Director, Revenue Cycle will perform any and all job-related duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions :

Duties and Responsibilities :
Frequent interaction with client executive team. Serves as trusted advisor to client. Develops personal relationships with clients, allowing for heightened trust and confidence.Conduct weekly meetings with Guidehouse leadership and client executive team on items such as payer nuances, facility pain points, PayFlo development, payer consolidation process, decision tree note templates, appeal automation, call center improvements, SOP and policy updates for all hospital-based system functions.Work closely with both onshore and offshore leadership teams ensuring there is proper collaboration and communication which assist in quality and productivity improvements.Ongoing refinement and review of SOPs. Collaborate with the SOP team to convert current SOP to Guidehouse format and assist in the creation of the new SOP site in accordance with the train 60 initiative.Primary Subject Matter Expert on host system and processes for all departments both within current purview and outside current departmental role. Assist Cash Payments, Payment Variance, Credits, Rejections and Call Center in ongoing training and process specific SOPs. Two trips to India conducted for ongoing leadership training.SOP development and Train 60 initiative. Act as main POC in development to revamp SOPs and execute Train 60 plan.Manage both onshore and offshore AR Denial team activity, 600+ member team. Develop short and long term objectives and monitor execution. Also provides mentoring to existing leadership teams.Assuming ambulatory practice book of business on top of current hospital-based responsibilities.Assuming direct leadership of PE team for both hospital and ambulatory book of business.Assuming training responsibility for call center.Staff :
Hire, review, discipline and separate employment.Monitor and report daily / monthly productivity.Ensure Team Member compliance with Guidehouse and Client policies and procedures.Compile and forward Team Member timesheets to Guidehouse payroll for processing.Verify and monitor time off requests.Able to fill in for Project Supervisors.What You Will Need :
Requires a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience. (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree.)Relevant experience coming from a healthcare provider, payor, central business office environment or revenue cycle outsourcing company.What Would Be Nice To Have :
Has held a leadership role (preferably Director or Associate Director) in a Healthcare Organization, preferably one that includes a Physician / Faculty Practice as well.PC skills in a Windows environment are required. Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel is essential.Innovative, motivated & able to lead by example.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision required.The annual salary range for this position is $106,000.00-$176,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
