Day to Day :

A leading power client of Insight Global is seeking a Substation Designer to join their team in Leawood, KS! In this role, you’ll focus on creating physical substation layouts while also helping to develop design standards and procedures. You’ll work closely with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate, high-quality designs that support construction and operations. This is a great opportunity to apply your technical skills, stay current with industry codes, and contribute to the growth of an in-house engineering team.

Must Haves :

• 3+ years of experience as a substation designer within power generation OR gas generation OR fossil fuels
• Ability to utilize both 2D and 3D applications to prepare engineering drawings
• Basic understanding of design software such as : PLSCAD OR E3D OR Plant 3D OR AutoCAD OR MicroStation

Pay : $100,000 - $130,000
