Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Roswell, NM 88201 (New Mexico nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : LDRP Unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 9 / 29 / 2025 – End : 12 / 29 / 2025) Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (18 : 00 – 06 : 30) Hours per Week : 36 or 48 hours available Estimated Weekly Salary : $1750 - $1880 Patient Ratio : 1 : 3 Scrubs : Provided (purple, navy blue, or OR scrubs) Charting System : Epic EMR Registered Nurse Qualifications Active NM or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of application) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience BLS and NRP certifications required PALS certification preferred Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records Skilled in couplet care, labor management, and circulating own cesarean sections First-time travel nurses welcome Charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care for laboring patients, including triage and couplet care Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care for mothers and newborns Circulate and recover cesarean section patients independently Support breastfeeding and lactation for new mothers Perform newborn assessments and provide neonatal care Assist with vaginal deliveries and circumcisions Float to similar units within nursing scope as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response) Document all patient care using Epic EMR system Work scheduled weekend shifts (12 weekend shifts per contract) Discover the unique charm of Roswell, NM—renowned for its friendly atmosphere, fascinating history, and outdoor recreation.
