Kettering Health Franklin, formerly known as Franklin / Springboro ED, is located right off Interstate 75 at the Franklin / Springboro exit. It is a 24 / 7 full-service emergency center serving the Franklin / Springboro area for 5 years. The facility has 12 beds and is accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Level 3 Geriatric Emergency Department. It offers convenient parking and short wait times.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Patient Registration I position's major duties include, but are not limited to the following :

• Registering patients while demonstrating strong guest relations and exceptional customer service and effective communication.
• Reviewing all scheduled outpatient visits prior to service to ensure that all patients have been screened for discounts.
• Ensuring that payer sources and payment arrangements and options have been discussed.
• Assisting patients with the completion of Financial Assistance Forms, HCAP Application and Medicaid Applications (if applicable).
• Reviewing an account for quality and confirmation and demonstrating the ability to update all aspects of a patient account.
• Demonstrating knowledge of all compliance or legally required registration forms, consents, literature and documents.
