As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What Youll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at technology, media, and telecom locations.

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized access.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for technology, media, and telecom environments.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and maintain a visible presence.

Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site procedures.

Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and provide support as needed.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
