Job Description

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth in the Life Sciences sector.
• Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders across the East Coast region.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
• Partner with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
• Monitor market trends and industry counterpart activities to identify new opportunities for expansion.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
• Act as a valued advisor to clients, providing insights and expertise on business services in the Life Sciences sector.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director, Business Development - East Coast should have :

• A strong awareness of the Life Sciences industry and its unique complexities.
• Previous experience with molecular genetics, transgenic mice, immuno-oncology, or immunotherapy.
• Proven experience in business development or sales within the business services sector.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to build lasting client relationships.
• Ability to work with minimal oversight while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong detail-oriented and problem-solving abilities to identify and address client needs.
• A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
