Registered Nurse – Family Medicine Clinic Rural nursing at its finest! We’re looking for an energetic and compassionate contract-to-hire Registered Nurse who thrives in the rapid pace of a family medicine clinic and enjoys the variety of skills that come with it. This is a full-time contract-to-hire position with a Monday–Friday schedule (approximately 8 : 00 am–5 : 00 pm). A sign-on bonus is available for permanent, full-time hires. Job Duties & Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care to patients in the clinic / outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards. Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach with patients, families, and the care delivery team. Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs. This includes : Assessing patient conditions Triaging patient phone calls Counseling and educating patients Taking patient histories Performing screenings Administering vaccinations and medications Document patient care in the health record according to established standards. Maintain professional effectiveness through ongoing education and development. Support quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. One year of RN experience preferred. Knowledge of age-specific principles of growth and development to meet patient needs. Current Utah Registered Nurse licensure. Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills.
