Base pay range : $66.00 / hr - $73.00 / hr

Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and continuously monitor risks associated with AI systems, encompassing model integrity, adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and privacy concerns.
  • Design and implement robust controls to mitigate AI-related risks, including comprehensive model validation, explainability frameworks, and secure data handling practices.
  • Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and relevant external regulations.
  • Provide critical support for audits and regulatory examinations pertaining to AI and cybersecurity risk.
  • Develop and implement key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to effectively monitor the organization's AI security posture.
  • Deliver regular, insightful reporting to senior leadership and risk committees on evolving AI risk trends and mitigation efforts.
  • Proactively stay current with emerging AI threats, technologies, and best practices to anticipate and address future challenges.

Qualifications

  • Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in technology risk or cybersecurity, with at least 2 years specifically focused on AI / Machine Learning systems.
  • Profound understanding of the AI / ML lifecycle, model governance principles, and their associated security implications.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and widely recognized risk frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, comprehensive data governance strategies, and secure software development practices.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration and strategic influence.
  • Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • CRISC, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent industry certifications.
  • AI-specific certifications (e.g., Certified AI Risk Management Professional).
