Description
Under general supervision, the primary responsibility is providing classroom instruction in the EMS programs offered by WCTC or clinical instruction in the hospital and clinical setting for EMT and Paramedic courses. Requires strong organizational skills, good communication skills, an ability to effectively deliver practical hands-on instruction and include technology in the teaching of classes, and familiarity with all aspects of the Fire and Emergency Medical Services fields. Must be accessible to students and maintain positive relationships with industry-related organizations and businesses. The successful applicant will be responsible for completing requirements to obtain and maintain a current teaching certification from the Wisconsin Technical College System Board.

Salary :
Classroom Lab and Clinical Instruction $40 / hour; Non-instructional $20 / hour

Promote and coordinate professional development opportunities for Fire / EMS instructors to further develop their teaching skill.

NOTE : An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired will also be considered.
