Key Personnel is currently recruiting Controls Engineers for a manufacturing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ideal candidates should have experience with developing control strategies and integrating equipment into the plant’s existing control systems.
12 month contract assignment
Controls Engineer Pay Rate : $51.28 / hr.
Controls Engineer Responsibilities :
- Develop control strategies
- Work with manufacturing engineers, project engineers and suppliers to integrate equipment into existing control system
- Managing projects on your own, start to finish
- Working with production leaders and operations to obtain a clear understanding of what is needed in a task / project
- designing control panels from small relay control to large PLC panels that may control conveyor motors, servos, VFD’s.
- Designing Allen Bradley HMI’s with Factory Talk View Studio
- AutoCAD electrical designs from new or manipulating existing drawings
- Trouble shooting any aspect of process equipment and machinery (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical)
Controls Engineer Desired Skills :
Proficiency in AutoCAD designProgram / Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC’s including but not limited to SLC Compact Logix and Control LogixProficiency in RS Logix 500 and 5000 as well as Studio 5000Design, Build and commission control panels that meet NFPA and NEC guidelinesComfortable working with and troubleshooting voltages from 24VDC to 480VAC using a multimeterProficiency in troubleshooting from prints / schematics (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365Handling multiple projects simultaneously that may include multiple contractors and subcontractorsFanuc robot troubleshooting and repair experience a plus!Experience in automotive or similar industryControls Engineer Requirements :
Associates Degree and at least 5 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience
