Adult Psychiatrist | Full Time | Inpatient | On-site
Position Overview :
We are seeking a full time adult Psychiatrist to join our inpatient hospital team in Jefferson City, MO. This full time, onsite role involves providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients aged 12+.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for a caseload of approximately 16 patients per day.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing staff and a Medical Staff Coordinator, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Call rotation & weekend coverage required
