Senior Accountant

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of ledgers, financial reporting, and budgeting of assigned departments / locations. Serves as a resource and guide to colleagues and assigned departments / locations.

$71,000 to $75,000 annually

Essential Functions (approximate time spent)

• Maintain accurate ledgers, financial reporting, and budgeting of assigned departments / locations (30%).
• Prepare timely financial statements and assist with budgeting (30%).
• Counsel and report to stakeholders with respect to financial matters (20%).
• Act as a resource regarding complex financial transactions and reporting / tracking of funding (10%).
• Assist with preparation for audits and consolidation of financial statements (5%).
• Assist with the development of internal accounting procedures and training of finance staff (5%).
