Job Overview

TE's Aerospace Defense & Marine Division is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Manufacturing and Process Development Engineer - New Products to deliver the engineering design, development, and implementation of next generation manufacturing technologies and processes. Manufacturing Development works closely with Product Development and Operations ONSITE.

Job Requirements

• Launch new product at world class quality and cost at pace of customer demand.
• Infuse strong DFM / DFA principles to ensure delivery of robust, efficient and cost-effective designs that are manufacturable at full scale.
• Deliver product designs that align with current manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop new manufacturing processes to support customer driven product innovation as needed.

Additionally, this candidate should have basic knowledge of industry standards surrounding environmental and mechanical performance of optical connectors.

Primary responsibilities include :

Execution of Manufacturing deliverables to the NPD Phase Gate process including :

Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and automation appropriately to support customer driven new product innovation.

Apply a lean manufacturing focus to drive world class cost on new product and fuel plant-level productivity initiatives on fiber optic manufacturing processes.

Support TE's global operations footprint as a subject matter expert for fiber optic manufacturing processes.

Liaise with manufacturing facilities to support preliminary cost estimates on new product concepts.

COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience : $103,000 - $150,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience / qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
