Kopp Glass, a Pittsburgh-based manufacturer of high-performance, custom glass products, is seeking to hire a Quality Technician to support key aspects of the Quality Management System including Production support and equipment calibration activities. This individual provides timely, accurate, and efficient workflow support of production through quality assurance activities to consistently deliver high-performance glass products on-time and in-spec. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and technical abilities while executing the daily tasks associated with product conformity such as measurement activities using such equipment as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), simple calipers, and optical comparators. We are hiring for both entry-level and mid-level Technician positions.This is a fully onsite position that will be responsible for performing job functions in both Swissvale (15218) and Rostraver Township (15012).

Primary Responsibilities :

• Provides technical production support to manufacturing operations for QA-related matters.
• Maintains control of nonconforming ware through containment actions, material review boards (MRB), and the nonconforming material area (NCM).
• Completes calibration, repairs, and maintenance on measurement and test equipment.
• Acts as QA liaison between sites by supporting continuous improvement through internal audits and the CAPA process.
