Accountant I / II / III
The person selected for this position will assist the Horticulture department head, faculty, and staff in managing all financial aspects of the department in a cost effective manner.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience :
Level I : Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, or a similar degree plus a CPA with no experience.
Level II : Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, or a similar degree plus a CPA plus 2 years of experience. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent.
Level III : Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, or a similar degree plus a CPA plus 4 years of experience. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent.
Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications
Minimum Skills and Abilities :
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to organize, prioritize work, and handle multiple tasks.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial management.
Ability to successfully work both independently and in a team environment.
In addition, the candidate must be able to build and maintain positive relationships with others in administrative offices across campus.
Minimum Technology Skills :
Proficiency with various spreadsheets and database programs such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Knowledge and experience with Auburn University financial reporting systems, budget, contract and grant operations, policies and procedures
Salary Range : $43,600 - $90,330
