Job Summary :

The purpose of the Sr. Database Administrator role is to ensure the integrity, performance, and security of our organization's databases. By managing and optimizing database systems, the senior DBA supports critical business operations, enabling data-driven decision-making and maintaining seamless access to vital information. This role is essential for safeguarding data assets and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Database Management and Maintenance - Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
• Performance Tuning and Optimization - Monitor and analyze database performance, implementing necessary adjustments and optimizations to improve efficiency and response times
• Technical Leadership and Best Practices - Provide technical leadership for database-related projects and architecture, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Backup, Recovery, and Security Management - Develop and manage backup and recovery plans, implement security policies, and conduct regular audits to safeguard data integrity and protect sensitive information.
• Collaboration and Support - Work closely with IT teams, developers, and stakeholders to provide database-related support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure alignment with business objectives
