Outpatient Psychiatrist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Psychiatrist (MD / DO)  licensed in Georgia to join our team as an independent contractor. This role combines  direct outpatient care  with opportunities for collaboration and leadership within a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll work with a  hybrid model  (in-office + telehealth) and provide psychiatric evaluations, therapy as appropriate, and medication management. This position also includes the  supervision of PMHNPs  under Georgia Composite Medical Board regulations — with stipends available for each NP supervised.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients across the lifespan.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide medication management.
• Offer supportive therapy and crisis intervention as appropriate.
• Collaborate with therapists, PMHNPs, and other professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Supervise PMHNPs (chart reviews, consultations) per Georgia law.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance standards.
