The Department of Neonatology at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt (MCJCHV) is on the lookout for a Board-Eligible / Board-Certified Pediatric Hospitalist / Newborn Medicine Pediatrician. This exciting opportunity supports Cookeville Regional Medical Center, an affiliate of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where you can focus on hospital medicine and newborn care.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional hospital medicine and newborn care at Cookeville Regional Medical Center as a proud Vanderbilt employee.
• Participate in delivery room procedures and provide top-notch newborn care.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to elevate patient care and enhance clinical operations.
• Perform essential procedures including circumcisions, UVC placements, and intubations using LMA.

The Pediatric Hospital Medicine Division at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional care for hospitalized children. Our multidisciplinary team, which includes physicians, psychologists, and nurse practitioners, focuses on four specialized sections : hospital medicine, complex care, palliative care, and child maltreatment.
