Adventist HealthCare's Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Tech II for our Pharmacy in Silver Spring, MD. We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Pharmacy Technician II you will :

• Perform drug distribution, medication preparation, compounding, dose calculation, and quality
• Performs sterile compounding according to USP 797 and 800 including electronic documentation
• Maintains accurate inventory of medications and supplies by performing inventory management cycle counts; performs patient care unit inspections with electronic documentation
• Prepares and delivers medication to patient care units; restocks automated dispensing units
• Assesses need for and prepares prepackaged oral solid, and liquid medications for dispensing
• Performs medication history assessments
• Additional duties as assigned

This is a per diem position with a rate of $28 / hour. 8 hour shift One times a week Rotating shifts Evening, Nights and Weekends.

Pay Range : $20.03 - $28.03

If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as : United States of America (Non-Exempt)
