The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) in conjunction with IU Health Medical Group (IUHMG), is seeking an academic hematopathologist to join its expanding faculty.
The individual selected will be part of the Division of Hematopathology that provides expert diagnostic and consultative services to Indiana University Health (IU Health) which includes Methodist Hospital, Indiana University Hospital, Riley Hospital for Children, IU Health West, IU Health North, IU Health Arnett, and a number of smaller hospitals. The division also serves Eskenazi Health and the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. The successful candidate will join a collaborative group of nine hematopathologists with sign-out activities based in a central location, the IU Health Pathology Laboratory (IUHPL) in the downtown Indianapolis campus. Qualifications and level of experience determine the academic rank.
Responsibilities :
- Provide diagnostic services including sign-out of tissue hematopathology, flow cytometry, peripheral blood, and fluids, molecular hematopathology and / or coagulation.
- Pursue clinical and translational research.
- Actively participate in educational activities including ACGME-accredited and non-accredited trainees.
