Hourly Pay Range :
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

- Position : Per Diem, Registered Nurse Med / Surg Per Diem
- Location : Evanston, Hospital Primary, Skokie (secondary and subject to change)
- Full Time / Part Time : Per Diem
- Hours : evening shift; (1500-2330) weekend and holiday requirements per level agreement
- Per Diem Commitment Level : Per Diem Level 1 : 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2 : 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3 : 111-144 hrs. / per 6-week schedule
- Required Travel : Evanston Primary site, Skokie (secondary site - subject to change)
What you will do :
Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients on med / surg unitsUtilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of careGuide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient careCommunicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of carePositively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experienceWhat you will need :
License : Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL requiredEducation : Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferredCertification : BLS Certification for the Healthcare Provider required. Must maintain an active NIHSS certificationExperience : A minimum two years of recent acute care clinical experience in med / surg required. Telemetry competence required.
