American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in cardiac diagnostic and PCI procedures for a 13-week contract.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an acute care hospital cardiac catheterization labHandles cardiac diagnostic and PCI cases, with preference for experience in structural heart proceduresAverage patient ratio is 3 : 1Responsibilities include both scrubbing and monitoring during proceduresUses Epic EMR and GE MacLab systems; Epic experience is requiredDay shift, 4x10 hour schedule, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PMOn-call up to 2 days per week and every other weekendFloating may be required within service line and scopeFirst-time travelers are accepted for this positionRTO is limited to 7 days within a 13-week contract and not allowed during the first week of orientationOn-call coverage required every other weekendPermanent former employees must wait 1 year before returning as a travelerTravelers may stay for up to 18 months with a mandatory 3-month break after, or 12 months for allied / non-clinical roles with a 6-month breakScrubs are provided by the facilityNo cost for parkingAll team members must complete fit testing; facial hair must allow for proper mask fitNo local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab TechnologistCurrent BLS certification is requiredExperience with scrubbing and monitoring cardiac diagnostic and PCI casesPreferred experience in structural heart casesProficiency with Epic EMR is requiredLicense required if applicable; MO state or compact license required for Missouri, pending license accepted for IllinoisMust reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facilitySSN and DOB required for consideration\n Benefits\n
