Position Title : Web Developer

Location : Remote

Pay Range : $65 / hr to $70 / hr on W2

Job Description :

• Must-have (Core)8-10 years of experience
• Power BI Desktop proficiency : star schema modeling, calculated columns / measures, DAX (iterators, CALCULATE / filters, time-intelligence), Power Query / M for ETL.
• Data querying : solid SQL (joins, window functions, CTEs), ability to profile data and reconcile to source. Plus use ADF to pull data.
• Visualization & UX : choice of visuals, bookmarks, drill-through, tooltips, field parameters; accessibility basics.
• Performance tuning : model size control, relationships & filter directions, VertiPaq fundamentals, DAX Studio for query plans, Performance Analyzer.
• Security & governance : Row-Level Security (RLS), sensitivity labels, dataset permissions; understands data privacy levels.
• Power BI Service : workspaces, app publishing, scheduled refresh, gateways, endorsements / certification.
• Testing & documentation : measure naming conventions, calculation validation, changelogs, user guides.

Nice-to-have

Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each :

1. Creating Power BI reports including data modeling, visualizations and DAX programming

2. Process data using SQL ( or Python) to create datasets to be used in reports

3. Monitor / QC and troubleshoot data and performance issues
